Christmas with a Difference Show at the Irma Stern Museum
The Rondebosch Flower Club are putting on a show titled Christmas with a Difference at the Irma Stern Museum from Wednesday 24th November until Friday 26th November.
Spectacular flower arrangements by our top floral artists will incorporate jewellery, Christmas decorations and Bling T-lites.
The Christmas decorations and Bling T-lites is a community outreach project, initiated by the Cape Town Red Had Renegades, and are hand made by a number of unemployed women who earn an income to feed their families.
A visit to the Irma Stern Museum is an absolute must not only to see her art, furniture and artefacts, but the museum, which was her home. It has a wonderful vibe surrounded by well kept gardens.
Entrance to view the floral art is R20 per day (pensioners R10).
Evenings from 17h30 to 19h30 is R50 which includes wine and snacks.
The Adonis Musati Project will also display craft by unemployed refugees and in keeping with the flower theme.
All funds raised will be donated to A Library in Every School which is an initiative of the Cape Times together with The Bookery and Equal Education.
